Our origins date back to 1949, when a group of Italian immigrants arrived in Venezuela with the conviction of building a future through hard work and industry. Soon after, they began trading oilfield scrap, reclassifying it, melting it down, and selling it—driving, through effort and dedication, the first steps of the emerging national private industry.
During the 1960s, with the rise of SIDOR and later pipe manufacturers such as Conduven and Siderpro, their vision of progress led them to enter the distribution of new pipes, focused on the oil and hydraulic sectors, supporting the country’s energy growth.
In 1978, they consolidated their expertise and decided to focus exclusively on the sale of new carbon steel pipes, primarily under the API 5L standard, reaffirming their commitment to quality and international standardization.
Between 1997 and 2014, their determination to keep growing led them to acquire and operate the IMOSA plant in Puerto Cabello, where large-diameter pipes—from 16” to 120”—were produced. During that period, they doubled production capacity from 80,000 metric tons per year to 200,000 metric tons per year and developed a modern three-layer coating facility (FBE, adhesive, and HDPE), integrating cutting-edge technology to strengthen the national industry.
In 2025, TOTALTUBOS C.A. was born from this legacy—an organization that blends generations of expertise with a modern, sustainable vision for the future.
Today, we stand as a reliable and innovative alternative, driven by the same spirit that shaped our beginnings: to build with purpose, serve with excellence, and contribute to Venezuela’s industrial development.
